I create dynamic, freeform abstract paintings and jewelry with fluid acrylic paints. Palette knives, other tools, and air blown onto the paint help me nudge the painting in the direction I want it to go, but I don’t have full control. The result is a creation that cannot be reproduced. I use these same techniques to create hand painted jewelry. Within a painting I look for small areas with interesting colors and compositions to cut into shapes. These miniature works of original art are topped with a glass cabochon, then mounted into a jewelry setting. Each piece is unique.
Original artwork and jewelry created in various media; alcohol ink, acrylic flow, encaustic (beeswax), resin, and traditional acrylic. No pieces are ever the same! All pieces are created with love and passion for art by my own two hands!
